We met in a non-traditional way that's becoming more of the norm. We were both doing online dating and the time and unbeknownst to me, he was feeling your girl :).. alright, alright.. I was feeling him as well in which I swiped right and BOOM... we were a match. Now, due to this particular site (Bumble) the woman has to message first. I obliged and sent him something short and sweet. From that point our conversation/messages where very detailed and to the point. The way we messaged, someone would have thought we knew each other for years. During this time of messaging (I did some background work on him and he did the same) I asked about him being in church and if he was a Pastor. Do y'all know that he told me that "some people call me Pastor"... say what sir?? Yeah, I didn't have any intentions on talking to a preacher, let alone a Pastor. He had the same thoughts as well. I told my girls about the amazing guy and our conversations, BUT he was a Pastor. They knew I wasn't going for that and they "encouraged" me to give it a try. I'm so glad we both stepped out of what we thought we wanted. Finally, we were heading into the weekend and we both were going out of town. I to a graduation and he was traveling with his boys. I said to him, I guess I will talk to you on Monday (we still hadn't exchanged numbers)... he responded "I plan to talk to you all weekend " and we exchanged numbers. From there it was a wrap!
