Nipa and Ronak's story began at their local temple as little children. They both grew up in Sugar Land, Texas, and had many mutual friends. Nipa and Ronak also attended college together, however, it was not until after college they found their love for one another. After some cheeky back and forth banter, numbers were exchanged and a first date took place at a Rockets playoff game. After that first date, Nipa and Ronak spent significant time together, and their whirlwind romance began. 5 years later, they live in Houston with careers in technology. Nipa and Ronak share similar interests in travel, learning new things, and going on spontaneous adventures with each other. They've recently welcomed 1 mischievous puppy to their family to join their already beloved Sitar (AKA George Clooney). They are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of their favorite people in person and virtually.

Last year Ronak and Nipa were planning an epic trip to South Africa. Ronak was planning to propose to Nipa on the trip at Giraffe Manor. Unfortunately, the trip was canceled due to the pandemic, so Ronak had to get creative on how to propose. Since Nipa was looking forward to going to South Africa, he decided to go forward with proposing by bringing Africa to her by recreating Giraffe Manor in Houston.
