Lauren and Jared first met through their close friend, Anja, who played cupid by consistently inviting them to game nights full of laughter, cards, and food. Initially just part of the same circle, they quickly discovered many shared loves and interests One of those shared loves, the great outdoors, led them on numerous day trips across the the state, discovering plenty of hidden gems scattered along the way. They made it a goal to visit every state park in Wisconsin. From the quiet beaches of Harrington to the peaceful wooded trails of Peninsula, they have discovered that their love for nature is even better when experienced together. Another shared love they discovered is breweries. With every day trip to some state park they would also find themselves at a brewery close by. Their frequent drives up to Milwaukee for drinks and tours inspired them to choose the Pabst as their wedding venue. In 2021, Lauren bought a house in Racine, and together they dove into DIY renovations. From painting walls to tearing out counters, their teamwork and shared vision turned renovation challenges into cherished memories, bringing them closer along the way. Jared officially moved in during the summer of 2022. On memorial day weekend in 2023 they took a road trip to Bayfield, Wisconsin to check another state park off of their list and see the beauty of the Apostle Islands and Lake Superior. At sunset on the beach of Little Sand Bay, Jared proposed and Lauren said yes, cementing their partnership in both life and in love And so, their story continues, filled with laughter, adventure, and the simple joy of being together.
