FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nina Chhibber Williams and Kevin Riley
Question

Are my kiddos invited?

Answer

While we love your tiny tots, we are having an adults-only wedding (except for 1 flower girl!). We know this may be tough to navigate to those with bebe's and kids, and we really appreciate you!

Question

Any recommendations for babysitters?

Answer

Check out www.care.com for qualified babysitters in the Chicago area. If you have any questions/want to connect with others that may be getting a sitter, please reach out to Kevin and Nina and we will put you in touch and help out in any way we can.

Question

Are you taking COVID precautions?

Answer

We will be following state and local guidelines for our wedding. Vaccination is required.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the action?

Answer

If you fly into O'Hare and take the Blue line right from the airport, it will drop you off right at The Robey in 25 mins. Taking public transportation from Midway is a bit more difficult. There are also Ubers and Lyfts available! Expect a 25 min car ride from ORD and a 35 min car ride from MDW.

Question

How do I get from my accommodation to the venue?

Answer

We welcome you to take a short Lyft or Uber ride from your accommodation to The Joinery, there is not a great public transportation option. There is a limited amount of street parking at the venue.

Question

Anything I should know about the ceremony?

Answer

We will be honoring Nina's Indian heritage during the ceremony. Don't worry, we'll provide a detailed program at the wedding so you can follow along! The ceremony will be about an 1 hour so we HIGHLY recommend eating lunch before you arrive.

Question

Inside? Outside?

Answer

Both! The ceremony, dinner, and dancing will be inside. Cocktails and dessert will be outside.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is upscale-cocktail (cocktail or floor length dresses, suits & ties). Wear what makes you feel good! You're also welcome to wear sarees, suits, and lenghas. (Note: if you would like to change between the ceremony and reception there will be individual restrooms and a coat check to store your garment bag. At the moment we can't guarantee a large changing suite, thanks for understanding!)

Question

Should I avoid wearing certain colors? I don't want to commit a wedding faux pas!

Answer

Thanks for asking! Like most American weddings, please avoid wearing white. :)

Question

When and How do I RSVP?

Answer

Check out the RSVP tab on this website to confirm your attendance for our wedding events.

Question

I have a food allergy!

Answer

Don't worry! Our fabulous caterers, Hearty Boys, will have you covered. Please indicate any allergies/dietary restrictions when you RSVP online.
