Answer

August is a busy time of year in Northern Michigan. Please book a hotel through our travel page or other accommodation ASAP.

Answer

Yes, black tie optional. We encourage all guests to wear formal attire. Formal dress code for women includes floor length gowns, tea-length, and midi dresses. For men this includes suits and tuxes.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 2:00pm. Please arrive to the church no later than 1:40pm or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

While we absolutely adore children, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a wonderful evening celebrating with us.

Is there parking?Is there parking?

Answer

For the ceremony - There is a parking lot behind the church and metered parking downtown Petoskey. Please arrive with enough time to find parking. For the reception - For anyone driving, there is a parking lot out front of Bay Harbor Yacht Club. We will also be providing shuttle transportation to and from the reception from the hotels listed on our travel page - please RSVP "yes" once we send out the invitations if you would like to opt in for the shuttle.

Answer

Yes, we will be providing shuttle transportation from the Inn at Bay Harbor, Courtyard Marriott, Hampton Inn, and Holiday Inn hotels listed on our website. You must respond "yes" when submitting your RSVP if you would like to take transportation. There will not be transportation provided for the ceremony. There is a parking lot behind the church and street parking in Petoskey.
