Stephen had just moved up to Boston for grad school, Nina was working at IBM in Cambridge. They both found their way to the Hong Kong in Harvard Square in search of the infamous Scorpion Bowls. They met at the bar, the old fashioned way. Nina from Michigan offered to give Steve from Boston a tour of Boston. Steve asked for her number. The next day they went kayaking and enjoyed Tosci's; it's been an adventure from there!

Stephen had to work on New Year's Day, so a belated New Year's celebration on the beach turned into the most wonderful proposal. We stopped by our favorite bakery to pick up crepes, brought Belle, and hiked out to Napatree in Rhode Island.
