Question

How do I get to the venue and find the ceremony location? How is parking?

Answer

Please use Apple Maps or Google Maps to get to the venue as both will easily guide you there. As you approach the venue, there will be a Saratoga Springs sign on the driveway. When you arrive, please follow the driveway down the hill until you see a staff member who will direct you to the correct parking area. There is ample parking at the venue. While our venue is large and can sometimes accommodate more than one wedding at a time, please state to the parking staff that you are for the "Cadiz/Canton" wedding, and they will direct you to the correct spot. From the parking lot, it is a short walk to the entrance of the venue. There will be signs leading you to the "Longbridge" location, and there will be a welcome sign at the entrance of our reserved area. If you see a giant bridge, you are in the correct place!

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Please arrive at the venue at 430pm to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space from the parking lot and find a seat.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, there will not be provided transportation to and from your accommodations to the ceremony. If you are planning to enjoy any alcoholic beverages, please do not drink and drive. If you book an uber/lyft home, the venue allows guests to leave their cars overnight as long as you can pick them up by 9am the following morning.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Are there any colors that I should avoid wearing?

Answer

Ladies, please do not wear any white or cream colored attire. Gentlemen, it is ok to wear white or light colored dress shirts.

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during our ceremony only. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer who we trust to capture our special moments during our ceremony. Once the ceremony has concluded, please feel free to take as many videos and pictures as you want during cocktail hour and the reception. We will have QR codes around the cocktail and reception areas that will lead to a shared album for everyone to access.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be a limited amount of cocktails and bottled soju and sake but an open bar for house beer, house wines, soft drinks, and coffee/tea.

How is the cell service?

Answer

Verizon is the only carrier that gets full service out there in the redwoods. The venue does offer free Wi-Fi (no password) that guests can connect to.

Will the wedding be indoors/outdoors? How is the weather?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place outdoors. While the weather may be unpredictable, it will most likely be between 75-85 F at the beginning of the ceremony and can fall to 50-55 F at night. Please plan accordingly and bring a shawl or jacket just incase.
