Volcano National Park
Visit one of the most special National Parks in our Country. Takes about 2 hours to reach the park from Kona, but day or night, you will not be disappointed. From crater rim hikes to visiting at night to watch the lava glow (if flowing), this park is an amazing day trip idea.
Pololu Valley Outlook and Hike
Pololu Valley is one of our favorite places to visit here and it is situated at the very North point of the Big Island about 1 hour 15min from Kona. The views are breathtaking and the hike down to the shore only takes about 20-30 minutes. Bring water and be prepared for the hike back up to the top to be more strenuous than the hike down. If you don't feel like hiking down, you can still get a great view of Hawaii cliffs meeting the Pacific Ocean.

Golf at Kona Country Club
For those of you who want to hit the links, Kona Country Club will be the best bang for your buck. A beautiful course with multiple holes on the coast and is very well maintained. Please reach out to Nate if you want to get a tee time scheduled as we may be able to get discounted rates.
Green Sand Beach
Explore 1 of 4 Green Sand Beaches in the world which is located on the southern tip of the Big Island. It is approximately 1.5 hours from Kona and once you are parked, there are local shuttle busses to bring you down and back for $10 per person. Please remember to bring water, snacks, and sunscreen.
Kona Submarine Tour
