Where is the wedding?

We are getting married at Casa Marina on 11/9/24! It is a beautiful beachfront Hilton resort in Old Town, Key West, Florida.

What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding is Black Tie on the beach! Women should wear gowns, and men should wear tuxedos. The ceremony will be in the sand, and the cocktail hour and ceremony will be on astroturf right past the beach. There will be a dance floor on the turf as well!

What should I wear the night before?
Answer
Key West cocktail vibes - girls, think short (or long, if you prefer) colorful dresses ; guys, think pants and button-down/polo/linen shirts!

Can I get a tuxedo in Key West?
Answer
There are no rental companies on the island. We recommend renting from wherever you are coming from and flying with your outfit carry-on. Steam Queen Key West are a local steaming and pressing service!

When should we arrive?
Answer
Come join us at our welcome party at the rooftop of First Flight Island Restaurant at 6:00 PM on the night before (Friday the 8th)! There will be light food served and an open bar.

Simply put, we fell in love with Key West our first time here with the vibrant energy and the beautiful weather. Key West has so much to offer from the live music on every corner, the unbeatable sunsets, and the Caribbean feel. Ever since the Logies traded in their snowy Boston winters for the Key West sun in 2021, we haven't been able to stay away. We can't wait to share this slice of paradise with you all!

Where should I stay?

We are sharing our wedding weekend with the World Offshore Boat Championship Racing competition (https://raceworldoffshore.com/). This is a fun event not to be missed, but also means you need to book accommodation as soon as possible, if you are to get a room. Key West is small but, that having been said, there is a difference between Old Town and New Town. New Town is a few miles away from Old Town - which is where the action is. Staying in New Town will require that you Uber, bicycle, scooter or golf cart to get to the action in Old Town. Parking can be challenging so be wary if renting scooters or golf carts. In Old Town, you can walk everywhere! Our wedding will be at the Casa Marina Resort in Old Town. Discounted rooms are available using the code: m6. This discount code is currently being opened. Yes, weather permitting! We have a ballroom reserved indoors in case of inclement weather.

What are some things to do?

Where do we start? Here is a list of some of our favorite things: Rent some Key West Cruiser bikes and peddle to your hearts content! Take in a sunset at Mallory Square Stop by Blue Heaven for music and Key Lime Pie Charter a boat, or book a tour to spend the day at a sand bar like Snipe Point or JewFish Basin Distillery tour & rum tasting at Hemingway Rum Co. Distillery Splurge on a seaplane ride to Dry Tortugas Live music is everywhere - our favorites are Green Parrot, Hogs Breath Saloon, Smoking Tuna and Hanks Jet Ski around the Island Take a selfie at the Southernmost Point of the United States (just 90 miles from Cuba!) Snorkel off Fort Zachary State Park Do touristy things like visiting the Hemingway House, Truman’s Little White House, wander around Truman Annex and, of course, the one and only, Conch Train Tour!

Yes, there is valet parking. Old Town is also very walkable and there is Uber and Taxi services as well!
