Irongate Garden Inn is located in North Chico at 673 Nord Hwy, Chico, CA 95973 Chico is an hour and 28 minutes north from Sacramento International Airport and 13 minutes from downtown Chico.

What is the parking like? Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

There is a gravel parking lot onsite. Spots will be reserved at the entrance for those who need to park closer. Yes, cars can be left in the parking lot overnight. They need to be picked up by noon on Sunday, October 5th.

What is the weather like in Chico in October

Answer

The average temperature in Chico is October is a high of 80 degrees and a low of 47 degrees. In 2024, we had a warmer October than usual. This is an outdoor venue and we will monitor the weather before the wedding and do our best to have heaters, fans, or blankets available depending on the forecast.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. We are getting married outdoors in a garden. The driveway is gravel and there are some grass areas to walk on, so plan your shoes accordingly.

What is the wedding timeline?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. After the ceremony we will have a cocktail hour with beer, wine, signature cocktails, and charcuterie. After cocktail hour, we will have barbecue dinner, cake, and cupcakes. Following dinner, we will have dancing, a Photo Booth, and a late night Mac and cheese bar. The reception will end at 10 p.m. to meet Butte County guidelines.

What are your honeymoon plans?

Answer

We are going on a quick trip to Disneyland right after the wedding for our annual Halloween getaway. We will be heading to Hawaii in December for our honeymoon!
