Are kids allowed at reception?

Yes up until 9pm

The reminder cards you are handing out are they invitations or announcements?

Answer

Both....this is our way of getting the word out and allowing people to have something in writing for a keepsake.

Will this be invite only?

Answer

Somewhat...we have tried to reach out to all family and friends but it has been hard reaching everyone in the short amount of time we have. So we have reached out in different ways and gave out a general announcement. All who still wish to come but would like something in writing also please contact us if you haven't seen us yet so we can give a reminder card for your wallet.

If I didn't get anything in the mail does that mean I'm not invited?

Answer

No. We want family and friends that wish to come and support us to come if they can. We don't have a lot of addresses so we tried to reach out via Facebook or phone call. If you still haven't heard from us it is nothing personal we are just having a hard time getting to everyone please please call us or reach out if you haven't heard from us it'll help a lot!

Continue to show us genuine love and support. We are so excited for this union to take place and only look for your support and prayers.

If you've ever been to a wedding and/or part of a wedding anything to minimize planning stress of the engaged couple would help. Prayer is our favorite gift.

Nina I know you did these FAQs give me specifics WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP???

I know I'm so simple. We do welcome donations of any kind. We have a small Amazon registry but we shop at Wal-Mart and Food lion often if you like gift cards or money instead. If you prefer to make a dish for reception instead feel free to let us or family know. We have considered a honeymoon donations fund, but it is optional. *This has been such a blessed and humbling experience thank you for even considering!

Will you be offended if we grab a meal before we come to reception?

Answer

Not at all we will have an informal reception so we understand that finger foods aren't that filling, but it was the best choice for us since we didn't have an exact count as to who may attend. So if you wish to grab something else we completely understand.

Do you think it's a good idea to open your wedding up to people aren't you setting yourself up for chaos?

Answer

It may not be the best idea but it is our wish for any family member or friend who knows us well and genuinely wants to support us on our day to feel welcomed to join us. We'd hate to have and amazing day planned for ourselves then hear later that someone didn't feel welcomed. We are nice simple people please reach out to us.

Yes if they know us or it's your mate.

Weddings are a big deal aren't you afraid of what people will say?

Answer

Not at all we came to please God not people. This has all been so humbling we have faith that the right ones will join.
