Long before dating apps became the norm, two of our best mutual friends (now husband and wife), Ishy and Kishan set us up. Though I was hesitant to say 'yes,' to the blind date, the moment we met in Columbus during a night out, sparks flew. After dating for almost a year, I graduated from Ohio State and moved back to California. After a year of long distance and numerous uncomfortable flights later, Jeff moved his entire life to L.A., where we began building our new life together.

During a trip to Sri Lanka January of 2019, Jeff took me to a beautiful gem shop in Kandy. We spent a few hours picking out the gem I wanted custom made. Unbeknownst to when exactly it was going to happen, just a few days later, during a hike to Little Adam's Peak, Jeff popped the question! Without hesitation, I said Y-E-S!
