Passports

Remember to check the expiration date on your passport and renew if it will expire within 6 months of your travel dates. Renewals typically take 2 months.

Getting to the Bahamas

Boat, ferry, plane? However you choose to travel to the Bahamas, note there are direct flights into Nassau from both Miami and NYC. If flying Bahamas Air from MIA, keep in mind that TSA pre-check is not available, so factor in extra time to pass through security.

While some cabs are accepting credit cards, many of them don’t, so make sure you have cash on hand, especially after hitting up the casino!
