Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Alex Nimz

Maid of Honor

On December 6, 1996, Alex's life was forever changed knowing she had to deal with a little sister the rest of her life. In retrospect, Andy has never been so thrilled and thankful to have someone like Alex in her life. She is the greatest Irish Twin and childhood accomplice anyone could ever ask for. From all of the shared birthday parties to going to college on opposite sides of the country, Alex has been there for it all. During icebreakers in new gatherings, when everyone has to say a fun fact about themselves, Andy's fun fact is always "I am an Irish Twin! My sister and I are the same age for five days every year. It's my favorite five days every year because I get to pester my older sister for being the same age as me."

Aaron Gengler

Best Man

Aaron is the older and much wiser brother of Ryan. These two have shared much of their lives together including many childhood memories. Aaron and Ryan have been through many things which have brought them closer together. One experience included foreign vegetables to Aaron and Ryan's diet. Our house rule was to always finish one's plate at dinner, or consequences would result. At this particular dinner, Aaron and I were both repulsed by the stir-fried yellow squash and cucumbers that our mom had prepared. Many tears were shed and even vomit at the task of finishing our meal. Shared experiences like this and countless others make me thankful to have a great older brother.

Rachel Schneider

Bridesmaid

Rachel was Andy's college roomie of THREE years! That is, until Rachel decided to marry a boy and leave Andy. :) Rachel has always been more than Andy's college roommate, she has also been one of Andy's best friends for the last couple of years. Andy is so thankful for Rachel's open ears and the advice she has shared. Andy's favorite memories of living with Rachel include scaring the living daylights out of her, late-night Mcdonald's runs, and many shared tears. Andy is so thankful that Fort Hays gave her Rachel!

Ben Schneider

Groomsman

Ben and Ryan met at Catholic Disciples events while in college. I, Ryan, knew from the get-go that Ben would be a quality friend to have. His laughter and fun attitude were infectious. He never failed to make me laugh at the dumbest jokes. A few of my favorite nicknames for Ben include Neb, Samari Neb, and Bernie. Along with the laughter, Ben has always been there for me as a true friend would. His example and accountability continually challenge me to be a better man, and I thank him greatly for that.

Madison Wright

Bridesmaid

Madison Ada Wright. Where to begin? Madison is someone that Andy tells pretty much anything and everything to. She is Andy's go-to girl when she needs to know "which shoes should I wear?" or "does this match?" Andy greatly admires Madison for her big heart, warm smile, and unconditional friendship. When Andy first met Madison, she instantly knew that she was going to be a forever-friend!

Reese Leiker

Groomsman

Reese is a college friend of mine. We also met at Catholic Disciples (you may begin to see a trend here). I think I was first drawn to Reese by his incredibly luscious golden ginger curls. Our friendship began to grow around common interests such as squatty potties, card tricks, skiing/snowboarding, entering the lab (Texas Holdem), and most importantly our shared goal of sainthood. I admire Reeses's passion and it is a quality I appreciate in our friendship, but watch out, the same passion translates to the dance floor.

Alyssa Keil

Bridesmaid

"If a skittle touches a gusher, it's no big deal. But once ranch touches a pancake, there's no going back." -Alyssa Keil. Alyssa is one of Andy's most favorite people. As Andy's roommate of three years, she is ALWAYS down to watch a Disney movie, start a new Netflix show on a whim, or go get a Cerv's Snoball at any time of the day. This Hays native has put up with A LOT in being Andy's roommate, including dealing with Andy's obnoxious cat, over-cleanliness, and weird meals. Andy is extremely appreciative of Alyssa for putting up with her for this long. She is one of the hardest working individuals and Andy is lucky to have her as a friend!

Lucas Roths

Groomsman

Lucas is also a college friend and roommate of Ryan's. I, Ryan, greatly appreciate Lucas's friendship in many ways. I can always count on Lucas for a good time whether it's enjoying a beer on the porch, destroying our opponents in spikeball, or entering the lab. Secondly, Lucas was very influential in my integration into the Catholic Campus Center Community at Fort Hays. He is one of the reasons I met many of the other men on this list!

Tess Tuchinski

Bridesmaid

Tess Marie Tuchinski is Andy's oldest childhood friend. The memories that Andy and Tess share are countless, to say the least. From playing fairies at the rec to tea parties to playing dress up to cooking random food to pulling all-nighters to sleeping on the trampoline to eventually becoming a second sister... Andy has had so much fun growing up with such a great friend. Tess drove to Kansas with Andy and her parents to help her move to college, and Andy is eternally grateful for that.

Greg Gunderson

Groomsman

Greg and Ryan first met in middle school and have been friends since. My earliest memory with Greg is going to his house in Oklahoma. This trip was filled with goat cheese, monks, WII sports, and go-carts. Greg and I did just about everything together in high school, including annoying the living crap out of another man on the list, Davis Dubbert. My time with Greg through middle school, high school, and as freshmen year roommates at college has been filled with many shenanigans and even more fun.

Justine Coffer

Bridesmaid

Honestly, Mr. Watkins' 6th grade class never stood a chance when they put Justine and Andy in the same classroom. They became instant buds and the rest is history. Andy's favorite memory of Justine is when I, Andy, came home from college one weekend and decided to surprise Justine. I let myself into Justine's house and soon realized that Justine was in the shower. Justine's weiner dog, Sophie, wouldn't stop barking and quickly blew my cover. To my surprise, Justine came flying out of the bathroom butt-naked, saw me, and screamed for a solid 30 seconds. It was epically hilarious. From fan-girling over Twilight to midnight Sonic runs to graduating high school to moving to separate states, Justine has been there for it all. Andy loves Justine dearly!

Josh Becker

Groomsman

Josh and Ryan first met through mutual friends at the Catholic Campus Center. I, Ryan, was looking for roommates at the time, so I went out on a limb and asked Josh if he needed a place to stay. I am very grateful that this worked out because Josh and I's friendship began to grow from that day on. Josh Becker has taught me many things including how to play a tasty lick on guitar, the greatness of the McChicken, the delight of PBR, how not to bluff in Texas Holdem, and even a new word. You can ask him what it is. But most importantly, Josh has shown me how to delight in one's friends.

Kelsey Hesting

Bridesmaid

Kelsey is Ryan's older sister and not to mention extremely cooler than Ryan. Kelsey welcomed Andy into the family immediately, even though it took close to a year of dating Ryan for Andy and Kelsey to meet! She is so warm and friendly. Andy is also excited to gain a nephew (and another on the way!). :) Andy is looking forward to move to Kansas City so that her and Ryan can hang out with Kelsey, her husband Josh, and their son, Henry, more often.

Mark Schuckman

Groomsman

Ryan and Mark's friendship began to develop with Josh and Patrick when they all moved into the same house together. I, Ryan, was very excited to have Mark as a roommate. He was always someone that I wanted to get to know better. This became a reality with the two years that Mark and I have spent together as roommates. In these two years, we have gone through many things together such as school work, poker nights, exodus 90, and way too many oreo truffles. Through all of this, Mark has consistently been a reliable friend to me.

Lynelle Gengler

Junior Bridesmaid

Lynelle is Ryan's second youngest sister, and not to mention, much cooler than Ryan. Lynelle is one of the most creative, easy-going individuals Andy has ever met. She is always ready for a nap (as is Andy), and has made Andy feel so welcome. One of Andy's favorite parts of visiting Beloit is getting to hang out Lynelle and Kendra, as they are a blast!

Patrick Kepka

Usher

Patrick and Ryan were roommates for a year with Mark and Josh, forming THE original monastery. Patrick is a lot of fun to be around and is always down to hang out. He is the master of the "power check", chess, fact-checking, and anything/everything sports. I enjoyed many chiefs games with Pat and the best day of my life... Superbowl 54!

Kendra Gengler

Junior Bridesmaid

Kendra is Ryan's youngest sister and is arguably the coolest Gengler sibling. She is always full of energy and ready to conquer the day. Kendra shares in Andy's love for horses, board games, and the China House in Beloit. Andy is so excited to gain 2 younger sisters!

Brady Stephenson

Usher

I remember the first day I met Brady, but he doesn't. I saw him at the cafeteria in the rice line. It was a typical dude conversation. I told him that I'd seen him in the gym and he said "cool". That's pretty much how each of our conversations has gone since. In all seriousness, Brady has been a great friend. He is someone that I can nerd out with about finances and poker, but also someone I can count on to challenge and walk with me in my faith life.

Madison Kueny

Greeter

Madison lived across from Andy in Wiest Hall their freshman year at FHSU. One random day, Andy walked into Madison's room and said "you look like someone I went to high school with" and they became friends instantly. Andy shares so many amazing memories with Madison from their 4 years together at FHSU, including eating below-average meals at the caf, Rose nights, and dancing to High School Musical. Andy and Madison both share a love for the Jonas Brothers, How I Met Your Mother, naps, and cats. People would often confuse Madison and Andy for each other, so they started answering to both names by the end of their college experience and accepted being twins forever.

Davis Dubbert

Usher

Davis and I have known each other since 6th grade. We were pretty much involved in all the same things so we saw a lot of each other. I'm still not sure how he put up with me all those years. From countless practices, games, classes, drives in White Flash, pranks on Mrs. Eilert, and trips, Davis was there for it all. To this day I've had some of my best laughs with Davis.

Britney Bogner

Greeter

Britney lived down the hall from Andy in Wiest Hall their freshman year at FHSU. Britney is probably one of the most energetic individuals Andy has ever met, as she is always ready for an adventure! She is so bubbly and not to mention has a killer backflip. Andy, Madison (Kueny), and Britney all lived together their sophomore year of college, and it was a blast. Some of Andy's favorite memories include the countless times her and Madison scared Britney in their dorm. It just so happens that the best scare of all time is caught on video, where Britney falls and spills laundry detergent on the ground and says "GEE DANGIT MADISON!" Please find Andy July 17th and she will gladly show you said video. :) Andy is so lucky to have a friend like Britney to put up with her shenanigans!

Mason Eilert

Usher

I have also know Mason since I moved to Beloit in 6th grade. I remember going to his house every day after school in 6th before buccaneers practice to play video games. This is pretty much where our friendship began. We also participated in all the same extracurricular activities, including annoying Davis together. I remember a special emphasis on giving assists to Mason in basketball... after all, someone other than Davis had to score some of the time.
