Friday April 11th-Sunday April 13th. We are so lucky to be sharing our wedding weekend with the Atlanta Dogwood Festival! This is a huge annual event in the metro Atlanta area that is centered around tons of great food, good music, and a sense of community! If the weather permits, we definitely recommend checking it out!
Nimair and I love strolling through the Botanical Gardens. If you find some spare time during our wedding weekend, we highly recommend visiting. The gardens are beautiful in April! Make a day of it and stop into Rumi's Kitchen for a meal after!
We spent years living off of the Atlanta Beltline and it is one of the city's true gems. Grab a bike or throw on some walking shoes and enjoy the many miles of pedestrian walkways. The Beltline will take you through tons of breweries, restaurants, and parks!
You'll find Zoo Atlanta on every list capturing the "must dos" in Atlanta. For us, it's the surrounding neighborhood! We have spent a lot of our relationship in Grant Park and it's such a special place. If you end up at the zoo, take some time to walk around Grant Park, hop to Eventide Brewing for drinks, or hit the Grant Park Farmers Market.
In the springtime, the dual resort and winery has tons of spa packages and wine tastings to offer.
If you end up encountering some rain while you're here, we've got a great list of things for you to do around the city.
