FAQs

Question

When is the latest I can RSVP?

Answer

RSVPs for the wedding and booking a room at the Jardin del Eden hotel MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 7th in order to accommodate our vendors and secure an accurate headcount. If there is no RSVP information input to this site on September 8th, it will be understood that you will not be coming.

Question

Where do I fly into for the wedding?

Answer

Liberia (LIR - Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport) will be the easiest and closest airport, but there is also another airport in San Jose (SJO). Your trip from LIR should be ~1hr by taxi/shuttle compared to 4.5 hours from SJO.

Question

Will the wedding be held at the hotel/resort?

Answer

No! The wedding ceremony and reception will be at a nearby restaurant

Question

Is the room block at an all-inclusive resort?

Answer

No! Jardin del Eden does offer breakfast and dinner as part of the cost of stay, but there are tons of highly rated bars and restaurants in the city of Tamarindo that are more than worth venturing out into town for.

Question

How will I get to the wedding?

Answer

There will be a shuttle provided which will be leaving from Jardin del Eden Boutique Hotel in Tamarindo. You are also free to Uber from your location to the wedding venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress Code is Tropical Formal. Please be aware the wedding ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in a tropical climate. It will be somewhat cooler at night, but expect 80+ degrees during the day and to drop to low 70s in the evening.

Question

Can I bring my child(ren) to the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love our friends/family and all of your kids, the wedding will be 21+.

Question

Will I be able to share a room with a friend at the Jardin del Eden Hotel?

Answer

Jardin del Eden (where the room block is held) is adults only and primarily marketed towards couples, so all rooms are equipped only with king size beds. If you would like to share a room with a friend, we would suggest looking at Airbnb and Stay in Tamarindo's short term rentals or the other hotel options listed on the "Travel" page.

Question

Will there be Greek dancing at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Prior to boarding your flight you must demonstrate proficiency in dancing the Kalamatiano - please refer to this link to begin practicing! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8vd841hV6g
