We were both working at a downtown bar (Carolina Sports & Spirits as many of you know). As time went on, we grew to appreciate and learn the inner workings of one another. We have adventured to many places and created great memories together along the way. All of this resulted in the everlasting light of our love that we cherish and you see before you today.

One beautiful summer day, us and a large group of close friends floated down the Kennebec River. After an afternoon filled with sunshine and laughter, the guys stayed behind to make lunch while the girls went and hiked Moxie Falls. Once the girls returned, it was picture time! While the smiles were paused and the shutter clicked, William mustered up the courage to flip around and get on one knee to ask me to marry him. After a moment of complete surprise and unexpected tears, I said "Yes!"
