Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire / semi-formal attire. Bring your color and sense of whimsy! We would encourage no jeans or casual attire.

What is the menu for the evening?

Answer

Hors d'Oeuvres will include Beef Bourguignon in Puff Pastry, Mini Crabcakes with Lemon Aioli, and Spanakopita. Dinner will start with a Spinach Salad with dried cranberries and crumbled goat cheese with a balsamic vinaigrette. Your dinner options will include; Roasted Native Turkey with cornbread sausage stuffing, whole cranberry sauce, and gravy; Buttercrumb Schrod (a New England culinary term for a young Atlantic cod or haddock) with dill-lemon sauce; and Yankee Pot Roast with pan gravy. These are all served with a seaonal vegetable. There is also a vegetarian option which rotates seasonally.

Can I bring a date?

If we haven't already spoken to you, then please leave your date at home. We would really love to meet your new partner but not today.

Sorry, we love your spawn but this party is adults only! Leave your children with the babysitter and come let loose.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm! Please arrive around 4pm to get a seat. We will be heading down that aisle at 4:30pm, even if you're stuck in traffic!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

YES OMG YES! You know how important this is to us. Nikole has a nut allergy and will have a special cake made at a nut-free bakery. All who are allergic can join us in our gluttony! We will also make sure that we have a gluten free dessert available as well :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is a rather large parking lot right in between the where the ceremony is and the reception. You should be fine!

Is there a bakery?

Answer

Why yes! The Publick House is famous for their bakery! Most well known for their sticky pecan buns so feel free to stock up before you hit the road.

We’re glad you asked! Besides the bakery, the Publick house also has a gift shop. If that doesn’t satisfy your needs, walk on up to Sadie Green's Curiosity Shop which is located right in front of the inn.

Is the Publick House pet friendly?

Answer

Yes, this establishment is pet friendly and allows a maximum of two pets per room. The fee is $25 per accommodation, per stay. The Country Motor Lodge allows pets in the designated rooms, and the Tillyer House may have pet-friendly rooms based on availability. Service animals are exempt from the fee.
