We're getting married!

We met through our mutual friends Jake Berkland and Jordyn Anderson. After one night in the dorms spending time with them we instantly hit it off. We were both freshman at MSU not searching for anything serious but the Lord had bigger plans. Nik asked Bella on a date to church and the rest is history. We continued seeing each other for a few months, and once we were back from winter break Nik asked Bella to be his girlfriend. Our dating relationship was so fun! We spent the rest of freshman year spending every second we could together. That summer Nik went to Rochester NY to play summer ball where he ended up leaving early due to an injury. Bella was sad for Nik getting hurt but not about the fact they had all summer together. Sophomore year! This year had many challenges, memories, and laughs together. We spent the year growing closer to Christ and talking about the future. We had always known marriage was the goal for our relationship! Another summer came and Nik went to Fremont Nebraska to play summer ball, where yet again he came home early due to an injury. After many decisions Nik decided to transfer to Northwestern College in Orange City to live at home. Going into Junior year our relationship looked a lot different from previous years. We were now 2.5 hours apart and living completely different lives. Bella was entering her first year in the nursing program and Nik taking on a new school. Long distance was never a question for us, we knew it would be hard but rewarding! On November 1st, 2025 Nik took Bella out to Minneopa Park and asked her to be his wife!! Bella said yes of course;) Then we celebrated with our friends and family! We are now eagerly waiting to be joined in marriage on June 12 and cannot wait for what the Lord has in store for us!
