FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We can’t wait to begin this new chapter surrounded by our loved ones. Please let us know by 28 November 2025 if you’ll be there.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to give yourself time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the celebration starts.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’ve carefully planned our guest list to include our nearest and dearest. We wish we could include everyone, but due to space and planning, only those named on the invitation are invited.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make this an adults-only celebration, with the exception of the children participating in the wedding. We hope you’ll take this as an opportunity to relax and enjoy a special night out. Consider it a date night on us :)

Question

Should I bring anything special for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, your dancing shoes and your sunglasses! It’s a February wedding in South Africa, which means the sun will be out in full force. We recommend bringing shades so you can enjoy the ceremony without squinting.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day! The dress code is garden formal attire. Ladies are welcome to wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi dresses. Just a heads up, our ceremony will be outside on the grass, so ladies might want to consider wedges or flats instead of stilettos to stay comfortable and walk easily. Gentlemen can wear dress pants with a button-up shirt, blazer or suit jacket, and formal shoes. Kindly no chino's or vellies :) Kindly no jeans or casual wear. Our wedding colour palette is natural tones and pastels, so we’d appreciate it if you kept that in mind when choosing your outfit. If you’re unsure about what to wear or have any questions about colours, please feel free to reach out to Nikola. We’d really appreciate it if ladies could avoid white, ivory, champagne (or anything that might look white in photos), as well as brown or red, so our bride and wedding colours can really shine. If you would like further inspiration, there is a 'Dress-Code' Inspiration section at the bottom of the gallery page :)

Question

Is this an alcohol-free wedding?

Answer

No. Drinks will be available during the cocktail hour, and wine will be served with dinner. A cash bar will also be available for guests wishing to enjoy further refreshments.
