Capo Vaticano
Of course, do not miss out on Capo Vaticano. Grotticelle Beach will be something you can cross off your bucket list. This beach is stunning, bring a towel or rent a chair and umbrella for the day. Some of our suggested accommodation will offer a shuttle service to and from the beach. Stop for a bite to eat at La Campagnola and have a taste of the "piati tipici de Calabria".
Tropea
Have you seen this beautiful beach before? Well if not, now is your chance. Tropea is a hidden gem of Italy. The beach is incredible, crystal clear blue waters and plenty to do there. Take a walk up to the city and do some exploring and of course, EATING! Do not forget to admire the beautiful church on top of the cliff known as Santuario di Santa Maria dell'Isola. You can hop back on the train from Ricadi to Tropea which is about 15 minutes, or drive.
Pizzo
Pizzo is a quiet little fishing town, but known for something very special. Tartufo, a perfect gelato "bombe". The beaches are beautiful but walking around in the main town is spectacular. You can truly eat your way through this town. This travel guide is the great place to refer to! You can get to Pizzo via car or train. If you are renting a car and plan to drive here, be mindful of narrow roads and parking lots that can fill up...and fast!
