Bea & Niko's wedding

FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail / Festive / Formal Think elegant but comfortable. You’ll want to look good for photos but also be able to stand up suddenly if a Danish tradition demands it. That being said, anyone wearing crocs will get burnt at the stake.

Question

Dietary Requirements

Answer

Altro Zafferano will be serving a modern European menu. Please let us know in your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, and we’ll do our best to make sure you’re well fed.

Question

What are Danish wedding traditions?

Answer

Some examples include: • Guests clinking glasses until the couple kisses • Guests stomping their feet until the couple kisses again • Occasionally forcing the groom to run around the room while people attempt to cut his socks We promise it will make sense in the moment. Probably.

Question

Do we really have to participate in the traditions?

Answer

Technically no. But socially… The room may pressure you.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes. Please enjoy responsibly. Or at least memorably. The outdoor rooftop is also a smoking area so feel free to puff away (not when the bride is within sniffing distance though, unless you want a 20-minute lecture on why cigarettes are bad). You’ve been warned.

Question

What else can we expect at the wedding?

Answer

Apart from the pleasure of our company? The current working plan includes a bubble tea stand, possibly a live band, several Danish wedding traditions that will only make sense once they’re happening, a number of teary-eyed speeches, a few games and quizzes that may become unexpectedly competitive, and potentially even a magic show. There will also be cake, wine, skyline views, and celebratory chaos. We are incredibly excited to celebrate this evening with the people we love most. Thank you for being part of it.
