How we met

The lady on Row 3

Will's Side: Once upon a time on the corner of Luck and Centre street I went to to Greater Bethel Baptist Church, and although I was gonig to church for the right reasons - like to hear a word, increase my faith, and get closer to God, I did notice a lady that sat on Row 3 every Sunday. Her contagious laugh captured me instantly. As a matter of fact, I found myself laughing whenever she laughed-and she wasn't even talking to me. After months of attending church and missing opportunities to introduce myself I noticed how she carried herself, and how kind she was, and i would be lying if i said i did not notice her curls and her curves-but I could see that she was much more than that. God allowed me the priviledge to show her how a Queen should be treated, and how a real man that loves the Lord can honor her, respect, her and provide for her-and for that I'm eternally grateful. Nikkole's side: When I found Greater Bethel I was happily single, and not ready to mingle. I was determined to stay single until God sent me my King. However; I did notice a gentleman in a suit with a mysterious briefcase that seemed to stare at me every week as though he knew me. I wondered why he always seemed to rush out after church so quickly, but then one day he approached me-introduced himself and asked me out for coffee.. Before I knew it I accepted his invitation-and then later remembered that I don't even drink coffee! Our first date was at Red Lobster-and after being there for 5 hours talking and getting to know each other, I just knew he would be my soulmate for life--God saw fit to bless me with a King.
