FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nikkie Warren and Adam Chapman
We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Below are answers to a few common questions about the day & timings, location, accommodation, transport, and RSVP details. If you can’t find what you on the website, feel free to reach out and we’ll help you out.
Question

How do we get to Hunter Valley?

Answer

By Car (from Sydney) - The Hunter Valley is approximately a 2–2.5 hour drive north of Sydney. Take the M1 Pacific Motorway, exit at Hunter Expressway, and follow signs to Pokolbin / Lovedale. By Air - The closest airport is Newcastle Airport, around 1 hour’s drive to the Hunter Valley. Car hire, taxis, and private transfers are readily available. By Train - Trains run from Sydney to Maitland or Singleton, where taxis or transfers can be arranged to the Valley.

Question

Do I need to be there for the whole weekend?

Answer

Please don’t feel any pressure to attend the entire wedding weekend. You’re more than welcome to join us just for the main celebration on Saturday—we’ll be so happy to celebrate with you then.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We kindly request that our wedding be limited to invited children only. We hope this gives everyone the chance to relax and enjoy the evening with us.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

While we’d love to celebrate with everyone, we’re only able to accommodate guests and plus-ones who are specifically named on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Friday: Relaxed garden party attire - polished but feeling comfortable - think light, breathable fabrics, soft colours, and outfits suited to an outdoor setting. Sundresses, midi dresses, jumpsuits, or a nice shirt with chinos are perfect, and jackets/ties are totally optional. We recommend shoes you can walk on grass in, and bringing a light layer for later in the evening. Saturday: Romantic cocktail attire - think polished and dressy, with a soft, elegant feel. Cocktail or midi dresses, jumpsuits, or a suit with an open collar (tie optional) are all perfect. Feel free to lean into romantic colours, florals, or warm tones, and choose something you’ll be comfortable celebrating (and dancing) in all night.

Question

How do I get to & from the venue?

Answer

We’ll be arranging transport for guests from local hotels on the day to make things easy. Closer to the wedding, we’ll share pick-up and drop-off locations and times, so you can plan with confidence and enjoy the celebrations without worrying about driving. If you do choose to drive to the venue, there is plenty of parking on site.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love to share a truly unplugged ceremony with you - one where everyone is fully present and soaking up the moment with us. When the ceremony begins, we kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away and simply enjoy it all firsthand. Our photographer will capture everything, and we can’t wait to share those beautiful memories with you afterwards. Thank you for being part of it with us.
