FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tanner Howell and Nikki Acosta
From dress code details to plus-one policies, we’ve rounded up answers to the most common questions to make your weekend as smooth as possible.
Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Expect mild weather with highs in the 60s–70s°F and cooler evenings. We recommend light layers, especially for the evenings.

Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We’re going for a formal, Black Tie look—think tuxedos, evening gowns, or your most polished attire. That said, we also want the day to feel vibrant and personal. Feel free to bring in bold colors, rich textures, or subtle patterns within the bounds of formalwear. The ceremony will take place outdoors on cobblestone, so we kindly recommend choosing shoes that are both stylish and walkable.

Question

Will there be transportation to the reception?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a Savannah-staple way of transport to the reception. Please be mindful that you will need to provide your own transportation from the reception to your end destination.

Question

Where do I park if I'm driving to the ceremony?

Answer

While we recommend walking or Ubering to the ceremony, here are some parking lots/garages/areas we recommend: - Garages: Bryan Street Parking Garage, Robinson Parking Garage, Liberty Street Parking Garage - Metered Parking: Metered spots are available around Orleans Square and along Barnard Street - Parking Lots: 210 Barnard Street Lot, Civic Center Parking Lot - Mobile Parking App: ParkSavannah

Question

Do I need a car in Savannah?

Answer

Not necessarily! Downtown Savannah is very walkable, and rideshares like Uber and Lyft are easily available. If you're staying in the Historic District, you should be able to get around comfortably without a car.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’re only able to include a few special children in our celebration. Invited children will be listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

When should I arrive to Savannah?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4PM. We're asking for everyone to arrive by 3:30PM.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to very limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed on the invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!
