Like many modern day couples, we met on a dating app. What was supposed to be a casual date quickly turned into inseparable love and friendship. At the height of our “honeymoon” phase the pandemic hit. This gave us unlimited time to dream and plan our future together. When the world returned to normal, we began working toward the goals we had set as a couple. One of those goals being hosting a beautiful wedding for our friends and family. Our love and strength as a couple has only grown throughout the years and we are excited for the future!

I (Nikki) am impossible to surprise. I also am not particularly fond of surprises. So, I spoiled my own engagement surprise a few times. This always resulted in Steven not proposing and would leave him back at square one with his planning. Eventually, I asked Steven just to tell me when he was going to propose. And he did! He still managed to add the element of surprise by having one of my dearest friends there to photograph the proposal. It was beautiful. Located at Bellengrath Gardens in Alabama, it was early enough in the spring for us to have the grounds to our selves and for the flowers to be in bloom. We’re looking forward to starting this next chapter of our lives and we hope to celebrate our commitment to each other with you!
