The Portola, The Monterey Hotel, Hotel Pacific, and Marriott Monterey are all within a few blocks of our venue, which is in Old Monterey. The Monterey Hotel is the most affordable and might be a good option for guests only staying one night. The Monterey Bay Inn, and Monterey Plaza are still very close, but closer to Cannery Row. There is a water side pedestrian path about a mile long that leads to our venue, but it gets dark at night, so you might need to take an Uber or Lyft to and from the venue.
All our listed hotels have valet parking, and there is also inexpensive parking at several public lots close to the hotels and the venue. The public lots are $8/day, and free on Sundays. Lot 8 is the closest to most hotels, and there is also a parking garage across the street from the Perry House.
There are a lot of Ubers and Lyfts in town and service is pretty fast. Monterey is also very walkable. If you plan on visiting other sites in the area like Carmel or 17 Mile Drive, it is best to use a car.
