What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

The Welcome Party dress code is dressy casual. Think dressier than what you would wear to work, but not as formal as cocktail attire.

What is the dress code for the Wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will have a cocktail attire dress code. Gentlemen, please feel free to wear a suit or dress shirt. Ladies, a cocktail dress or dressy separates are great. For this time of year, we’d also recommend a jacket (and ladies, block heels or wedges will be best for the lawn!).

What time does the Wedding Ceremony start?

Answer

The Wedding Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:45pm. Please arrive by 4:30pm for your welcome drink and to be seated!

What type of food will be served at the wedding events?

Answer

On Friday 9/19 we will have light hors d'oeuvres. On Saturday 9/20, we'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner with a selection of meat, veggies, and salad.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Please note any dietary retrictions on your RSVP. We'll be happy to accomodate special meals if no options are available.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

On Friday 9/19, beer and wine will be provided. Cocktails will be available for purchase. On Saturday 9/20, the bar will be open! Cash is always encouraged to tip our amazing bartenders!

What is the easiest way to get to and from the Harbst Home (Ceremony & Reception Venue)?

Answer

There will be a bus from the Radisson (200 Second Street South, 200 Harborview Plaza, La Crosse, WI 54601) leaving at 3:50pm and returning at 11:30pm. While we encourage our guests to take the shuttle, Rideshare options are also available if preferred. *If you plan to take the bus to the ceremony, please note this on your RSVP.

Is there parking available near the Harbst Home ?

Answer

Limited parking will be available. We strongly encourage riding the shuttle. However, if you choose to drive, we suggest carpooling.

Yes! There will be a bus to and from the Harbst Home. It will pick up at the Radisson Hotel La Crosse (200 Second Street South, 200 Harborview Plaza, La Crosse, WI 54601) at 3:50pm on 9/20/25 and return at 11:30pm. *If you plan to take the bus to the ceremony, please note this on your RSVP.

There are hotel blocks available at the Radisson Hotel La Crosse (200 Second Street South, 200 Harborview Plaza, La Crosse, WI 54601) and The Charmant Hotel (101 State St, La Crosse, WI 54601). Please visit the Travel page for details on how to book.

The wedding festivities will be outside.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In La Crosse, WI the weather in late September averages highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. However, we strongly suggest checking the forecast prior to travelling.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. Please visit the Registry page for additional information.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

The reception will conclude at 11:00pm. There is no official after party, but we encourage all our guests to keep the party going in downtown La Crosse!
