we're getting married!

7 Years Later... Meeting Rashod 7 years ago would be the day my life changed completely. Not knowing we'd be where we are today. Starting off as friends, we dated a few months and decided to make it official. After only almost a year we were expecting our first son! We were both so excited! After a year welcoming our first son, we decided to pick our family up and start fresh. Rashod has helped me become a better woman, supporting me while in school, helping me and taking on my 2 children and being the example of a true man for our family. Our love story is one that is unfinished, and the rest is still unwritten. I look forward to saying "Yes" to the person I want to spend the rest of my days with! We know life will have its ups and downs & we've already overcome so much together, our marriage will only be a stamp of our FOREVER!! March 2025 will be a night to remember! For Nikki’s birthday weekend, Her mom and best friend made reservations at The keg steakhouse. They planned to have a nice dinner & enjoy the weekend with family and friends. Nikki had no idea that night, her life would change forever. She spent all day making herself beautiful for their romantic night. Rashod on the other hand was home all day getting himself together. Nikki “always running late” finally made it home to get dressed. They Finally arrived at the restaurant where Nikki’s family joined them. Everyone was seated and started placing their orders. While they wait on food Nikki’s mom decided it was too quiet and she wanted to play some music she even brought a speaker. Meanwhile Nikki is on her phone oblivious to what is going on around her . Tasha, Nikki’s mom starts playing a song by Jesse Powell “you”. At this moment Nikki notice what song is playing and starts singing. Rashod then walks in behind Nikki and taps her on the shoulder holding a black box in his hand. Nikki immediately lays her head in her arm and starts crying. Rashod then grabs her hand while down on one knee, he then starts to tell Nikki how much he loves her then pops the question! Ecstatically and joyfully Nikki says Yessss! N+R
