We can't wait to celebrate with you! If you have any questions that are not answered below, you can reach out to Nikki or Marty.
Question

What is the wedding day dress code?

Answer

Our wedding day dress code is summer formal. Think well-tailored suits or tuxedos and floor-length or elegant midi dresses, styled with lighter fabrics, seasonal colors, and polished accessories to keep things comfortable and celebratory! Wedding day events will be outdoors, with some areas on grass—plan your footwear accordingly!

Question

What is the welcome party dress code?

Answer

Coastal Cocktail! For gentlemen, a light suit or sports coat and collared shirt. For ladies, midi or cocktail dresses. Our welcome party will be outdoors, with some areas on grass—plan your footwear accordingly!

Question

Is transportation provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

On wedding day, shuttle service will be provided to and from the The Oaks Hotel, including return trips at the end of the night. As of now (about 6 months out), shuttle services are scheduled for guests staying at The St. Michaels Harbour Inn and Fairfield Inn. We're asking guests to to share where they are staying when they RSVP so that we can determine if we should add more stops. Please check the website for the shuttle schedule closer to the wedding date.

Question

Is there on-site parking at The Oaks Waterfront Hotel?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at The Oaks.

Question

Is Uber available in the area?

Answer

Ubers are available, but pickup times can be much slower than in bigger cities, especially during peak seasons. We strongly recommend reserving ahead of time. You can schedule a ride up to 90 days in advance.

Question

Are children invited to the wedding events?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at our wedding (with the exception of our flower girls and ring bearer).

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

You will have the opportunity to note this when you RSVP.
