FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is requested. Gentlemen, think suits, dressy separates, or lightweight fabrics like linen that are perfect for staying cool in the heat - just keep it dressy! Ladies, we kindly ask you to reserve white for the bride and to avoid black, as we want you to have fun with color!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

If they are included on your RSVP - yes! However, we kindly ask that their care and comfort do not limit your ability to fully celebrate with us throughout the evening!

Question

What is the weather usually like?

Answer

August at Rancho Las Lomas is typically warm, sunny, dry, with daytime highs in the low to mid-80s and evenings cooling to the mid-60s. We recommend light, breathable fabrics and sunglasses. Rancho has plenty of shade but there will still be lots of sunshine so wear sunscreen!

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving between 3:30 and 4:00 so you have plenty of time to get settled, grab a drink, and mingle before the start of the celebration!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No. Please drive, carpool, or Uber. Valet will be provided on arrival so no need to worry about parking!

Question

Will food or drink be available?

Answer

Yes! Dinner and drinks will be provided. As you RSVP, please indicate your meal choice for the evening and any dietary restrictions - this way we can make sure everyone is happy and well-fed!

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding will be taking place in the El Teatro area of our venue. No need to worry about tricky terrain - the floor is smooth and level, perfect for dancing the night away in heels or flats. There are a few stairs from ceremony to cocktail hour but nothing crazy!
