As most of you know, if not all of you know, we meet on Tinder! We talked for about two weeks on text and finally met in person the day after Christmas at Brass Tap. We hit it off right away and were with each other almost everyday after that one day. I (Nikki) moved in with Jon-Pol pretty quickly since I was over his house all the time anyway. We then traveled a lot and one hot summer day in Greece decided we wanted to start trying for a family! In the midst of us trying, on September 24, 2018, Jon-Pol proposed to me on Navy Pier in Chicago. It was such a beautiful day surrounded by our close friends and I will always cherish that day. A couple more months go by and we go to a fertility doctor and get pregnant with Clancy! Right away we started trying for a second baby and had no luck again. Then Covid happened and all elective procedures were stop, so no fertility doctor. We wanted to wait and have our wedding after our second baby, so the wedding seemed to be on hold for a while. Once elective procedures were allowed again, we went back! Low and behold, we get pregnant with our daughter, Kalista! We were then able to try and get an idea of when our wedding would be. After a lot of back and forth with different ideas (and a failed elopement that was suppose to be in Switzerland), we decided on Boca. We are so excited to invite all of you to our wedding and to come and celebrate with us! Cannot wait :)
