The night of the proposal we were cruising around listening to music and talking nonsense like we usually did on nights we drove around aimlessly. There was nothing that stood out about that night that would make me think a proposal was about to happen. In fact, a storm was forming that night and the thunder had already began when Harold had suggested we go to the view point to see the city lights. We stood outside our car as Harold began what I thought was his talk down memory lane, he started to list all the firsts we experienced at that spot. Of course, since I am not a sentimental person I decided at that moment to start cracking jokes, but he continued. I was still looking ahead when Harold finished with " and I want this to be the place where you First say I do". At that moment I repeated "where I first say I do?" I was so confused but when I turned to look at him he was already on his knee with the most gorgeous ring I had ever seen. I obviously said "I do!" and at that very moment the rain began to pour and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Las Vegas Baby!
