At Redwood Canyon in Castro Valley, CA — a gorgeous venue tucked among the redwoods (and yes, technically on a golf course, but don’t worry, we won’t make you play a round).
4:00 PM sharp. Not “California casual 4:00.” We really mean it — don’t be late, or you’ll miss the good stuff.
The ceremony will be outdoors among the redwoods, so bring a light jacket or wrap in case the Bay Area decides to get breezy. The reception is indoors — where it will be cozy, warm, and ready for dancing.
The vibe is formal American and/or Indian attire. Translation: this is not the time for jeans, polos, sneakers, etc. • Ladies: Cocktail dresses, sarees, or lehengas. • Gents: Suits and ties, sherwanis, or crisp kurta sets. • No-go’s: Jeans, casual wear, or anything too laid-back. • Important note: In American weddings, white dresses are strictly reserved for the bride. Please do not wear white dresses, lehengas, or sarees.
We love your kiddos, but this party is mostly adults-only. Due to space and planning, only children specifically listed on your RSVP are invited (restricted only to close family and our international guests). For all other guests, we kindly ask that you arrange childcare so you can relax and enjoy the evening with us.
Redwood Canyon is located on a public golf course, so you may see golfers or other guests in the area. Don’t worry—the celebration spaces are reserved just for us!
There is on-site parking available at Redwood Canyon. However, we strongly encourage ridesharing (Uber/Lyft) so you can fully enjoy the night with us—we plan to party hard! 🎉
Here’s the flow of the evening: • 4:00 PM – Ceremony among the redwoods • Cocktail Hour – Drinks, mingling, and bites while we snap photos • Dinner & Speeches – Delicious food and a few heartfelt (and possibly embarrassing) stories • Dancing – Get ready for a mix of American + Indian fusion beats — think Beyoncé meets Bollywood 🎶
If your invitation says “+1,” then yes! Otherwise, we’d love to celebrate with just you.
We’re blending both of our backgrounds with a mix of Indian and Californian-inspired dishes, but the main courses will be indian cuisine. Vegetarian options will be plentiful, and dietary restrictions can be noted when you RSVP.
