We matched on the dating app BUMBLE, exchanged Instagram handles, and continued following each other for over a year and a half - without saying a single word. Finally, I decided that we were "friendly" enough to respond to something Gunther posted. The conversation finally started and a first date was set - September 14th. We went on 3 dates in one week and the rest is history!

With the chaos of 2020, we took it upon ourselves to go fully remote and start exploring as much as we could. We had been craving a different lifestyle for awhile and this gave us the opportunity to finally do something about it! We quickly left our Los Angeles place to find home in many other places including Santa Barbara, Minnesota, Lake Tahoe and now Austin. We have been really enjoying the freedom of being able to work wherever we want and finding what home means in each other rather than a place. After a year of consistent travel, we have landed in Austin and are hoping to stay (at least for now). We are excited to settle into a new city and begin building a beautiful life on top of the one we have already created together!
