Ashley and Nikki have been best friends for 16 years! They met in college while working as hostesses at Chuck’s fish restaurant in Tuscaloosa, AL. They both have a love for Bama football, fashion, interior design, and travel. Ashley lives with her 3 girls, Laine & Lilly (11) and Eva (5) in Mandeville, Louisiana. Roll Tide Roll!

Nikki’s Sister Cassie, is married to John Condo and they have two beautiful girls, Genevieve (4.5) and Naomi (3). They currently live in Omaha Nebraska.

Julie is Ashley’s sister and has also been long time friends with Nikki over the past 16 years. Julie is a pharmacist and has been married to her husband Darren for 7 years. They live in Mandeville, Louisiana. Julie, Ashley and Nikki have been attending Alabama games together at least once a year since college. RTR!

Deslonde and Nikki met through Ashley and have been friends for 16 years as well. Deslonde is a graphic design artist and lives with her husband Bentley and 3 adorable children, Monet (9), Braelyn (7), Bentley IV (4) in Covington, Louisiana. Deslonde, Ashley, and Julie all recently visited Nikki in Huntsville for “SouthStar Fest” in September where they listened to some great music and celebrated Nikki and Garrett’s Birthdays and engagement.

Kyra and Nikki met through work in Huntsville, Alabama. They have attend concerts at the Orion Amphitheater together and enjoy going out on the town in Huntsville. Kyra has a beautiful little girl named Tori (6).
Nicole Cutter

Nicole and Nikki met through Kyra and also work together at Huntsville Surgery Center. Nicole lives in New Hope, Alabama with her husband John and has a sweet little boy named Jack (4).
Whitney Lassiter

Whitney and Nikki met at work back in 2020 after Nikki had moved back home to Huntsville from Austin, Tx. Whitney lives in Owen’s Cross Roads, Al with her husband Matt and two children Addison (12) and Rylan (9).
Jamie Marotta

Jamie is Nikki’s Mom as well as Evie and Naomi’s Gigi. Jamie is a strong believer in Christ Jesus and has been to Jerusalem with her sister Debbie to experience the place where Jesus once walked. Jamie is an operating room nurse at Huntsville Surgery Center where her and Nikki get to work together everyday. Jamie loves to garden, Alabama football, and her two yorkies, Bear and Sookie; as well as, her grand-yorkie Hampton. She and Joe Marotta have been married for over 40 years, they are both from Uniontown, PA and they live in Huntsville, Al now for over 20 years.

Joe is Nikki’s Father and will be walking her down the aisle on her big day! Joe is a believer in Christ Jesus and attends Holy Spirit Catholic Church weekly. He is an excellent golfer and frequents the RTJ courses in Hampton Cove. Joe works as a financial advisor at Raymond James Financial Strategies. Joe loves his grand babies Evie and Naomi, as well as, the Steelers and Alabama football. He also loves going to the beach and tries to make a trip once a year with Jamie and Nikki and soon to include Garrett on future trips!
Genevieve Condo

Genevieve is Nikki's Niece to Cassie and John Condo. Genevieve will be 5 years old in June. She loves dancing, playing dress up, going the zoo (her favorite animal is Simba!), and most of all she loves her little sister Naomi.

Naomi is a very happy little 3 year old. She is also Nikki's Niece to Cassie and John Condo. Naomi loves Mini Mouse, playing dress up with her sister, and swimming in their big swimming pool in the summer time.
Gowan Lee

Gowan is Garrett's Niece to Emery and Todd Lee. Gowan is 10 years old and she loves animals, especially her kitty cat Goji.
Bruce McGowan

Bruce is Garrett’s father but is also going to be handling the officiant duties for Nikki and Garretts wedding! Mr. And Mrs. McGowan have been married for over 50yrs and they have three children: Emery, Garrett, and Jillian. Bruce is a loving devoted father and husband, he also flew helicopters in the Vietnam War, owned and operated his own seafood restaurant in Pensacola, FL, he is an exceptional wood worker, musician, and dog dad to Tiny and Gunner.
Drusilla McGowan
Mother of the Groom
Drusilla is a wonderful mom to Emery, Garrett, and Jillian. She has always done everything she can for her children, and now her grandchildren Griffin and Gowan! She is an amazing artist, and taught art for over 35 years in Florida before retiring! She enjoys making artwork, jewelry, and reading outside on the back porch at their home on Green Mountain. She also loves spending time with her two dogs Tiny and Gunner and her grandchildren!
RJ McDermott

RJ is Garrett’s Brother in Law, Married to Garrett’s younger sister Jillian. Garrett and RJ met almost 20 years ago while attending Florida State University. Garrett and RJ both love playing music and inshore fishing, both for fun and for tournament winnings!
Mike Ferral

Garrett and Mike have been friends for almost 20 years! Garrett and Mike met while living in Tallahassee, FL. One of Garrett’s favorite bass players is Les Claypool, and he noticed a “Les Claypool for President” sticker on the back of an old Toyota Cressida one day….turns out that was Mike’s Cressida. Since Mike plays guitar and Garrett plays bass they formed a pretty quick friendship and were roommates from then on out in Tallahassee….lots of good times and jam sessions were had!
Trevor Bowden

Trevor is one of Garrett’s oldest friends. They met way back in the 9th grade. Trevor and Garrett were both skateboarders and quickly became good friends along with their other skateboarding homies. Lots of late night skate sessions at Ellison industrial park, 4th of July bottle rocket wars, and never ending poker games were shared between these two. “No Kenny, you can’t buy back in with rolls of pocket change!”
Davis Yarborough

Davis and Garrett met back in 2016 during the mountain bike Summer Time Trial series up on Monte Sano. Davis was part of a group of friends that pretty quickly adopted Garrett as one of the group because he is an exceptional mountain biker and really funny. Davis is also a musician and asked Garrett to play bass in his band called “Human Labor. Lots of good times shared on biking trips and playing music between these two!
Todd Lee

Todd is Garrett’s brother in law, married to Garrett’s older sister Emery. Fun Fact: Garrett was the first person in the McGowan family to meet Todd after he and Emery started dating…24 years ago! Garrett traveled to Huntsville, AL to visit Emery and Todd…but also to skateboard with Todd, who, by the way is an exceptionally talented skateboarder!
Griffin Lee

Griffin is Garrett’s nephew and the son of Todd and Emery Lee, Garrett’s older sister and Brother in Law. Garrett has watched Griffin grow into an exceptional young man and is proud to have him as one of his groomsman! Griffin will be going into his senior year at Huntsville High School this fall and is an exceptional young actor and music buff!
Sir Hampton

Hampton is Nikki’s 13 year old Yorkie. Nikki got Hampton as a puppy while she was working as an ICU nurse at UAB. Hampton has traveled everywhere with Nikki including: Birmingham, Nashville, Austin, and a few trips to Colorado. He loves going for walks, playing fetch, ear scratches, and eating all the snacks in between!!
