Continental Divide is a gem of a Mexican restaurant with delicious margaritas and an incredible menu. They have been open for 30 years and is our favorite Sunday spot! We like to get there as they open as they do not take reservations.
Wayside had the best fried chicken in town and it's a mile from our house! Damyn loves to get the 5 piece with greens and green beans for sides.
Wineries are a favorite day off activity for Nikki and her friends. It's a great opportunity to spend time in the Blue Mountains while enjoying a taste of Voigner, a Jefferson favorite!

This trail system is nestled around Monticello and offers a variety of trail options for all skill levels. They are beautifully maintained trails and boardwalks, as well as many points of interest. It is a 15 minute drive outside Charlottesville.
This orchard is a 15 minute drive from Charlottesville and has a stunning view of the city. They have a Bold Rock location as well as a country store. There is a challenging trail you can hike as well. Nikki enjoys coming here with a book in the spring and fall to enjoy the view and a dry cider.
We love to spend time here for Trivia with Olivia and Karaoke! The beer is brewed in house. While they do not have a kitchen, you are welcome to bring outside food or order delivery.
Saturday mornings IX park hosts a beautiful farmers market with local vendors. There is also a farmers market near the Water Street garage at the same time.
