WE ELOPED! LET'S PARTY!

Colton and I met on August 5th, 2013. One afternoon, I decided to go to Sandbridge with a friend. There were two guys walking down the beach. I said, "That boy in the blue board shorts is CUTE! He looks just like Colton!" She looked over and said, "That is Colton." They walk over to talk to us. Colton sat next to me and strikes up a conversation. Eventually I stand up and he sees my kiss lips tattoo on my butt. He just HAD to get a picture with it pretending to almost kiss them! Literally our first picture together lol. After the beach, we all four decided to eat at Pungo Pizza. As we were leaving the restaurant, Colton gives me his phone number. I wasn't planning on calling him or texting him any time soon. Ya know, "playing hard to get." This boy hangs out of his truck while driving saying, "Call me!!" So, I called him and BOOM. He had my number. So slick! He asked what we were planning on doing later and we told him we were going fishing. Conveniently, Colton had the perfect spot to go fishing. We went over to his house and hung out. After that night, Colton and I were inseparable. We were blessed with a beautiful baby boy in November 2014.

I had been getting my nails done for months hoping Colton was going to pop the question soon! I hinted off romantic ideas and how cute it'd be to have someone hiding in the bushes capturing that special moment. Colton called me around noon on a day I was working from home. He tells me, "Alright, we're taking the boat out and going fishing! So get all done up and ready!" I was like"... You want me to get done up to go on a boat? ... To go fishing?" He said, "Yeah!" Damn if I didn't jump out of bed, curled my hair and threw some makeup on! Hahaha We get to the boat ramp and put the boat in the water. Colton walks over with cooler and our bags. He realized he completely forgot to get gas for the boat. If y'all know Colton, he was instantly irritated with himself! I told him I'd stay there with the boat and he can run to the gas station real quick. He says, " DON'T go through anything!" I did make sure I could at least get a beer out of the cooler lol. Finally ,we're out on the water. We threw some noodles out and went to this one spot to go fishing. It'd been about an hour and then it happened. Colton starts off by saying how much he loves me. We met at the beach and that's my favorite place. His favorite thing to do with me is to go fishing, so he took me to his favorite fishing spot. (By the way, I'm already crying at this point because I knew he was getting ready to ask!) He said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, opens the tackle box and gets the ring box out. He opened the box, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. As I was crying happy tears, I said yes!
