We’ve had to reduce our guest list to meet new venue guidelines. The venue has had to make changes to comply with state and local regulations— they are adhering to social distancing guidelines. We plan to hold the ceremony and much of the reception outdoors, weather permitting. Additional seating will be available, including outdoor high top tables on the patio for the reception and/or meal seating.
Chattanooga Airport (CHA) is 26 minutes from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cleveland hotel and 44 minutes from the wedding venue, Ocoee Crest.
Nashville to Benton, TN is about a 3 hour drive. Note: There is also a time zone change from CST to EST between these cities as well.
Yes, a shuttle bus leaving from the Holiday Inn & Suites hotel will be provided for wedding guests. Departing time will be announced.
Yes, but no overnight parking is permitted
Technically, none. We opted for the less conventional (welcome to 2020, right?!) cash fund registry that can be found on the home page under “Registry”.
The wedding party will be occupied with a rehearsal dinner. Other guests are welcome to gather in the “meeting room” at the Holiday Inn, which is reserved for our guests. That room is available to meet with others, converse, have cocktails, etc. This is strictly a gathering space. Any drink or food preferences are strictly up to you. It is the responsibility of our guests to keep this room neat and clean.
Yes, the same meeting room is available to us on Saturday evening as well. The same rules apply: bring your own food/drink, be respectful of other guests at the hotel, clean up afterward, etc.
Beer and wine will be served. And yes, you can secure a beer or wine to sip on during the ceremony.
This is not necessary. We have the honor of having the food served from Chatterbox Cafe (Food Truck) at our venue, Ocoee Crest. Please indicate on the RSVP if you have a food allergy/intolerance so we can help in accommodating.
Rumor has it the Kentucky folks will get a run for their money from the Minnesota group, but they will edge them out and be standing victoriously at the end of the evening. 🥳
Heck yes! 👏🏼🥂
