Chad and Nikki have been together for almost 12 years. They first met online and spent weeks talking before finally meeting in person. Both were nervous, but once they met face to face, they knew right away they had something special. From that moment on, the rest is truly history. Over the years, they have walked through it all together — love and loss, the highest highs and the hardest lows — always side by side. Their journey grew even more beautiful as they started their family, welcoming their daughter Mia in January 2020. Four years later, their family was completed with the arrival of their son, Nash. Together, Chad and Nikki have built a life full of love, resilience, and cherished memories, and they are so grateful for the family of four they share today.

Ten years into their relationship, in October of 2024, (their 10 year anniversary weekend) Chad and Nikki decided to take a weekend getaway to Canmore with their little family. It was a special trip, just the four of them, soaking in time together and making memories. The kids had never seen the mountains before, making the timing feel even more perfect. Chad had a plan. Before heading out for supper, he insisted they stop at a lookout point. He was determined to find the perfect spot, ideally a waterfall, but instead they found themselves at the breathtaking Three Sisters lookout overlooking Canmore. It was freezing cold and incredibly windy, but Chad convinced Nikki to get out and take it all in with him. Surrounded by the mountains and the family they had built together, Chad got down on one knee and spoke about how much he loves their family, how much he loves Nikki, and asked if she would finally marry him. And just like that, their next chapter began. 💍
