Our story started all because two people swiped right! We met in July 2015, our first date was actually very close to where we bought our house. After that we were pretty inseparable. Most everyone knows or has met Harper (our chocolate lab mix), and most people would know Brent and Harper are probably more inseparable than he and I. How ever that was not always the case. Their relationship started off pretty rocky, her eating his socks and wallets. But after Harper growing up some, they're the best of friends. Over the many years together, we made plans and dreamed of what our future together would hold. We had always planned on buying a house before having an engagement. Brent an I were together 5 years before purchasing our house in August 2020. In 2021 we started planning our birthday trip to Costa Rica, some times it works out having your birthdays a few days apart! Little did I know, this trip would be one to change both of our lives. We got to La Fortuna on Friday night, the next day we had planned to hike the Arenal Volcano. After several hours of hiking, we finally got to a valley of dried lava rock. That's when Brent got down on one knee and proposed. It was definitely a shock, and neither of us remember what he said hahaha. The next 8 days we got to explore and celebrate our engagement in the most beautiful place we've ever seen! Costa Rica will always hold a special place in our hearts. After all the adventures and fun we've had over the last 8 years, our biggest adventures are yet to come. We can't wait to celebrate with you all on November 3rd, 2023!!!!
