We met at a mutual friend's graduation party, where the cops were going after a person that had robbed four houses on the same street. When all of us teenagers took a picture in front of the cop car for memory sakes, I (Nikki) went up to a really cute guy (Austin) and asked if he wanted the picture from my phone. When he said "Yes, but I don't have your number," that's when I gave him my phone and said, "Now you will." The rest is history....

Austin was planning a brunch date for Nikki with friends, where afterwards we would take "couples pictures." Nikki knew something was up when her friend said she wanted to dress up cute and look nice early in the morning (very unusual for that friend). Austin proposed to Nikki at Pete's Pond in Wickliffe, OH after she asked him "Why is your heart beating so fast?" Obviously, Nikki said yes to marrying her high school sweetheart.
