FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

In order to provide our venue and vendors with the required information in time for our big day, we kindly request that you RSVP by June 1, 2023 at the absolute latest.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to extremely limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will be addressed on your invitation RSVP card, and will appear under your name when you RSVP on the website.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Although we do not expect any gifts from our friends and family who have decided to travel all the way to Puerto Rico to join us for this celebration, we are registered right here on Zola!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 pm on the beach at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve. We highly suggest arriving early (4-4:30 pm) to ensure that you have enough time to walk or get golf carted down from the main area of the hotel to the beach. The bride would like to be the only one walking down the aisle after 5:00 pm!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

On the schedule & RSVP page, you will see attire suggestions for the wedding. We would love to see our family & friends get dressed up with us! We are kindly requesting a semi-formal/cocktail dress code for our evening. Wear whatever color you would like, but please no white!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to the 18+ nature of our venue, we have to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event, with the exception of immediate family members.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I take pictures or videos?

Answer

We are hoping to have an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all of our guests can be 100% present with us during this special time. We have hired professionals to capture the moments for us. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you want, and we promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as possible!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you choose to rent a car during your time in Puerto Rico, there will be parking available for you in the main area of the hotel.

Question

Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our "Travel" tab to see suggestions for accommodations in the area. We have also reserved a block of rooms at the venue hotel (Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve) for a discounted rate. Check out the "Travel" tab for more info.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride & groom if you have any food allergies so that we can ensure you will have the proper accommodations for dinner.
