Question

Are Masks required?

Answer

Masks are required indoors in the state of Minnesota for those ages 5 and older. We will have disposable face masks available at the reception for those that need it. Masks are not required while eating or drinking.

I'm feeling sick, what do I do?

Answer

Please do not come if you are feeling ill. We completely understand! Take care of yourself and thank you for keeping everyone else healthy

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Of course your kids are invited! When you RSVP please indicate how many kids plates you will need.

Question

Dress Code?

Answer

Please wear something semi-formal. For ladies this means a summer sundress, or skirt/pants with a nice blouse. For men this means dress pants with a button down shirt or polo. Keep in mind the ceremony will be outdoors unless it rains or is extremely humid so dress accordingly.

Question

Can guests take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please do not use your cell phone or any other device to take pictures or videos during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer to take pictures of the night and will share the pictures with you later. Many professional photos are ruined because of the guests using their own devices to take pictures

Question

Is there still a dance?

Answer

Yes! But please do your best to practice social distancing during the dance

Question

What are my choices for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet style. There will be roasted chicken breast in white wine sauce, cavatappi noodles with chicken in white wine sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, homemade bread, American tossed salad, and carrots tossed in savory herbs. Let Nikki know at least two weeks in advance if you need a gluten free or a meat free meal.

Question

I have a food allergy or restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! The meal option for this is a pasta primavera with vegetables. This can be made without gluten. Please let us know ahead of time so we can let our caterer know to prepare this for you.

Question

Will there be a greeting line at the end of the ceremony

Answer

Due to COVID 19 we thought it was best if we did not have the greeting line. We want to keep everyone safe and us shaking everyones hands would not be a great way to do that

Question

Is there still a bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar tender will be wearing a mask and using gloves the entire time. There will not be fresh olives etc to minimize the risk of passing germs.

Question

How will food work?

Answer

Food will still be buffet style. HOWEVER each guest will not handle their own plate. The staff will be wearing gloves and masks and you will tell the staff which food you want. They will dish it for you. You will not touch your own plate until it is given to you at the end of the buffet. There will be a partition between you and the food to keep everyone safe as well.

Question

Will there be a bouquet toss?

Answer

We originally planned on having this but after much thought we decided it was best not to have a bunch of ladies crowding the dance floor trying to catch a bouquet thrown badly by Nikki. Best to keep everyone safe from Nikki's bad aim and from people invading others personal space during this time

For all the days along the way
