Chicago Air and Water Show

A massive, free lakefront spectacle featuring elite pilots and daredevil stunts, running from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Where to Watch: The "center stage" is North Avenue Beach, but you can get great views all along the lakefront. (best from Fullerton to Oak Street) Pro Tip: This event draws over a million people! If you plan to watch, head out early and allow an extra 45–60 minutes for any travel downtown, as Ubers and buses will be significantly delayed.
