The Wedding Website of Nikki Calderon and Adam Proctor
For guests who want to know more, please check out our Q & A first—we'll update this regularly to make sure you are fully informed on how we are moving forward!
Question

What COVID-19 requirements will be in place?

Answer

Our venue requires proof of Covid vaccination for all ages 5+ and up for all attendees and vendors. There will be no exceptions to this policy. If this is an issue, please contact our wedding planner Renee (renee@moxiebrightevents.com). Our wedding will be a mix of both indoor & outdoor locations. The ceremony is indoors, and the cocktail hour and reception will be outdoor/indoor. The venue, The Ebell of Los Angeles, is a 100% vaccinated venue, meaning that everyone who works there - in-house and the entire vendor team for the wedding is fully vaccinated. You are welcome to wear a mask, but we will not require them at this time. Our Covid precautions and requirements are subject to change, and as our loved ones we aim to keep you informed throughout this process!

Question

When is my RSVP due?

Answer

Sunday, 7/15. Due to COVID-related regulations, we may not be able to accommodate guests who RSVP after this date.

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Thank you so much for thinking of us! We are registered across multiple stores through Zola.com and you can find it on the Registry tab of our wedding website. That being said, we also graciously accept envelopes!

Question

What does "Black Tie Optional" mean?

Answer

A black tie optional dress code isn't as confusing as it sounds (we promise!). It means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown, tuxedo or barong) but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We love kids so please don't hesitate to bring them. Everyone cries at weddings (not just the babies) so we will have a quiet space set aside for time-outs, naps and nursing needs away from the ceremony and reception space for families to use as needed. If your child will need a high chair during the reception please make a note of it on your RSVP!

Question

I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?

Answer

You can find recommendations on places to stay and things to do in town in the Travel tab of our wedding website.

Question

Will there be air conditioning at the venue?

Answer

Absolutely! We know how hot it can get wearing formal clothes in August in Los Angeles so all indoor spaces at the venue will be air-conditioned.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

Our venue has a complimentary parking lot so no need to scour the street for parking. While you can park there overnight, we would prefer you didn't. We HIGHLY recommend using a rideshare service or carpooling to arrive/leave the venue if you don't think you will be able to drive home at the end of the night. Safety first y'all!

Question

Will the ceremony be taking place in the same location as the the reception and cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception will take place at the same location, The Ebell of Los Angeles. We will move to different spaces within the venues as the night goes on.

Question

Whom should I contact with questions not listed here?

Answer

Please start by contacting our wedding planner Renee Dalo via email at hello@moxiebrightevents.com. We want to make sure you feel safe and comfortable as we celebrate!
