We're getting married!

The first time Nikki saw Hunter was in Stuart dining hall on Newton campus freshman year at Boston College. He had just finished playing a pick up game of basketball when he walked in with some friends for dinner. There was something about Hunter that caught Nikki's eye. Was it the homemade cut off tank top? Certainly not. But with one look at his infectious smile and glistening green eyes, Nikki knew she had to meet him. When Hunter's roommates said they had a mutual friend they wanted him to meet, he already knew who they were talking about. Unbeknownst to her, Hunter had seen Nikki in the dining hall that night as well and had not stopped thinking about her. Fast forward to the next night at an off campus party that both Nikki and Hunter attended, Hunter arrived and saw Nikki playing a game of beer pong. He patiently waited for her to be done to get the chance to speak to her (he waited a very long time as we all know Nikki won back-to-back-to-back games). Finally they began to talk and connect over warm Corona Lights, both continuously feeling butterflies throughout the night. A week later, Hunter began to think, "this is the last girl I will ever date" and the rest is history.

Eight years of dating and four years of long distance later, the day finally arrived. Hunter organized to have both families meet in Boston for the proposal. For the first time, probably ever, Nikki was shocked. Hunter got down on one knee in front of the prettiest building on campus and popped the big question. As he stood up, both families walked out from the building behind them and the celebrations commenced.
