Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
Not only is the Museum packed with beautiful scenery you will also be able to see all of the unique wildlife that call the Sonoran Desert home. Located about a half an hour away from the heart of the city, the drive down is an experience alone for someone visiting Tucson for the first time.

The Cup Cafe inside the historic Congress Hotel offers an amazing breakfast in the heart of Downtown Tucson as well as great night life in the Tiger Room or Club Congress
Tombstone
The historic "Wild West" town of Tombstone is located about 90 minutes away from downtown Tucson and is a perfect day trip if you have the time! A must do for our guests from out of state, enjoy a cold beer in the Crystal Palace, go on a ghost tour or a carriage ride around the town!

Not exactly downtown but worth the drive for the best brunch in town. Be sure to try their prickly pear mimosa!
Mount Lemmon
Did you know that Tucson has a Ski Resort?!? While there (probably) won't be snow in October Mount Lemmon is truly the most unique part about Tucson. The off season is the perfect time for a hike, a ride on the ski lift or just to grab a cookie and some pizza at the Cookie Cabin!
Tumamoc Hill
If your looking to get a little desert in without the long drive we recommend a hike up the Tumamoc Hill. Beautiful sights on a paved trail, but be warned this one can be kind of a doozy
