Vietnamese Tea Ceremony

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark or light jackets and slacks.

In Vietnamese tradition, the tea ceremony is one of the most important parts of a wedding. It’s a formal yet heartfelt way for the couple to honour their families and receive blessings for their marriage. Traditionally, the groom’s family would gather first to prepare the symbolic gifts and then travel together to the bride’s family’s home to formally ask for her hand in marriage. For our special day, we request guests to arrive at Niki's parents home, 81 Ebb Tide Dr., for 11 AM. After the tea ceremony, we invited everyone to stay to celebrate, share food, and enjoy time together before the wedding day itself.
