Tinder. That’s where it all started. In 2014, Abhi and Nikita swiped right on one another. For a year they talked to each other via text – never meeting each other in person. Over that time they became close friends. It wasn’t until February 2016 that they decided to take the plunge – turning their friendship into a relationship. February 13, 2016 to be exact (right before Valentine’s Day. Such great timing on Abhi's part!). Like any relationship, they’ve had their fair share of bumps in the road. They made it through 2.5 years of long distance, 3 years of law school, and almost 4 years of sneaking around before both sets of parents knew about them. Today, they have all they could hope for – loving parents, a close group of friends, and an adorable 4-year-old pup named Archie. In March 2021, Abhi & Nikita decided to plan a Southwest U.S. road trip going through the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Zion National Park, San Diego, Los Angeles, and ending in San Francisco. On March 14, 2021, Abhi decided to pop the question (finally!) at Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona - the third day of their trip. For Nikita, saying "yes" was a no brainer!
